Also included are exercises where an article with a picture is shown. Again, they have to judge whether the article is real or fake. This exercise helps them develop critical thinking and media literacy skills, such as analyzing content for accuracy, checking for reliable sources and recognizing signs of misinformation. By practicing these skills, children learn to make informed decisions about the information they encounter and become more critical readers. The parent and child read the articles together and judge which article is genuine.
