Reliable information usually comes from experts with academic or professional credentials in the subject. Check publication reputation: Check the source of the information. Does the information come from a well-known educational institution, government website or respected news source? The more reputable the source, the more reliable the information. Evaluate the credibility of the website: Note the website's domain (.edu, .gov, .org) and purpose. Is the website educational or is it trying to sell something? Pay attention to transparency and citations of original sources. Cross-reference: They are looking for practical skills they can use in everyday situations, such as evaluating news articles, posts on social media or even school assignments. Practice critical thinking: Always ask questions. Who wrote this? Why was it written? Is there evidence to support the claims?
