By finding a satirical news article or video that has been mistaken for real news, participants learn about the use of humor and exaggeration in the media. The challenge encourages them to explore how satire and parodies are created to entertain or criticize and why some people misinterpret these pieces as factual news. By examining the role of context and the importance of critical reading, this assignment aims to improve participants' ability to distinguish between satire and real news, thereby promoting a more critical approach to media consumption. The participant reflects what this person has learned by performing all the tasks Tasks : Reflect on what you learned from completing the webquest. Challenge Discuss how you can apply your newly acquired knowledge to critically evaluate news and media content in the future. Evaluation : This task is crucial for synthesizing and reinforcing the learning outcomes of the webquest.
