Type of activities Case studies For this activity it would be interesting to do research on women's participation in decision making. Being aware of the low participation can be a motivating factor for women's participation in decision making. In addition to investigate in which cases this participation exists and to see which women and how they have taken important decisions in different areas, it can also be interesting for their motivation. Introduction of the activity Participants are presented with a series of scenarios in which women face important decisions or access to leadership roles. Development Choice of Options : Each scenario will present different options for participants to choose from. These options reflect decisions about how women can: • Overcome institutional barriers. • Negotiate their role in a male-dominated environment. • Take advantage of opportunities to promote equality. Discussion of Results : After participants choose an option, a discussion will be opened on the decisions made, exploring the consequences of each option and reflecting on how these decisions may affect women's participation in decision making. Supplemental Research Participants will also be able to conduct brief research on other examples of women in leadership roles and take notes on how their decisions have impacted their areas, to share at the end of the activity.
