About Work Package 02
EP-II aims to provide parents/guardians with effective strategies to address the rapid developments that are taking place in the European Union and across the world. These strategies help parents/guardians to fulfil their parental role and contribute towards the betterment of their children's lives, who are the future of the world. Additionally, these strategies also benefit parents/guardians themselves, by helping them become healthy members of their societies and contributing towards progress and prosperity.
The specific objectives of WP 02:

Design a curriculum that is relevant, engaging and effective in promoting positive parenting practices.

Develop training modules on the four themes identified by the needs analysis.

Provide opportunities for meaningful interaction between parents/guardians/carers, the project's scientific team and stakeholders.
Activities to achieve objectives:

A1 Curriculum Design and Training Plan.

A2 Development of Training Modules.

A3 Development of Multimedia Open Educational Resources (OER) correspond precisely to the nature of today's challenges.

A4 Face-to-face Training.

A5 Validation of Results.
Main results:
- R1 The Curriculum Design and Training Plan includes: clear and measurable learning objectives; the instructional design of training materials and learning methods to ensure that they are accessible, engaging, and effective.
- R2 The Curriculum and Training Materials including four Modules:
- M1 Support Children with Disabilities
- M2 Women's Empowerment in Challenging Environments
- M3 Children's Personal Data Protection
- Μ4 Protecting Children from Digital Misinformation/disinformation
- R3 Development of accompanying multimedia Open Educational Resources, such as brochures, slides, videos, podcasts for each Module.
- R4 Face-to-Face Training for three staff members of the partner organisations.
- R5 The Validation Report, which includes the assessment and evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of the training programme, the results of the evaluation and proposals for adjustments needed to improve the effectiveness of the training programme.
