Gema de Pablo González (Fundación Siglo22)

She holds a degree in Psychology and a PhD in Education from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Advanced Studies Diploma and Master's Degree in Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Advanced Master's Degree in Executive and Business Coaching from the University of Salamanca. Double Postgraduate Degree in Gender Equality Technician and Gender Equality Training Technician (U. Antonio de Nebrija, 2019). Associate Professor of the Interfaculty Department of Developmental Psychology and Education of the Faculty of Teacher Training at the UAM, teaching undergraduate, double degree and master's degree subjects.

 

Mariano Sanz Prieto (Fundación Siglo22)

He holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a PhD in Education from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Master's Degree in Information and Knowledge Society from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the UAM, teaching subjects related to the use of technology in education in Degree, Double Degree and Master. He has significant experience working on educational technology. He has worked in several international and national projects in these areas since 1989 and is an expert in eLearning and several web 2.0 tools.

 

Alicia de Pablo (Fundación Siglo22)

 She has a degree in Visual Arts and Dance with a specialisation in Theatre and a specialisation in Audiovisual Performance. Doctoral thesis candidate in Education at the UAM (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). She has worked as a theatre and film actress in different institutions and currently works as a theatre and dance teacher in two schools in Madrid. She has conducted several workshops on the development of emotional management through theatrical tools. Specialised in marketing and management of cultural events at the UOC (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), she works in the department of communication and social networks at the Siglo22 Foundation.

 

Rubén Vega Gutiérrez (Fundación Siglo22)

He is a graduate of the double degree in Primary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Valladolid and Master in Information and Communication Technologies in Education and Training from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He stands out for his innovative character in the confluence of graphic design and education, specialising in transforming educational concepts into impactful visual materials through the mastery of tools such as Canva, Genially and Artificial Intelligence. His creative approach and passion allow him to develop effective visual solutions that enrich learning and communication in educational projects.

 

Nancy Pyrini (PARAGON-eduTech)

Nancy Pyrini, Director of R&D, brings 25+ years of global expertise in research, education, and innovation. With a Bachelor's in Primary Education and a Master's in Cognitive Science, she has a multidisciplinary approach. Formerly a Project Manager and Researcher at University College Dublin, she contributed to e-learning, inclusion, literacy, and project management. Currently advising in the Hellenic Parliament for former Prime Minister George Papandreou, she also works as a Project Manager and Researcher at the University of the Aegean and as an external evaluator at the University of Pretoria. Certified in Research Integrity by Oxford University Press, Nancy specializes in e-learning design, gamification, and online communities of practice, demonstrating leadership in inclusive learning at PARAGON-eduTech.

 

George Sarrigeorgiou (PARAGON-eduTech)

George Sarrigeorgiou holds a degree in Engineering and a degree from the Pedagogical Department of A.SP.AI.T.E. He has worked in Technical Vocational Schools since 2000. He served for several years in remote areas; there he dealt with the inequality of educational opportunities within rural areas by introducing innovative teaching methods approaches that went beyond formal education. George is a School Life Mentor at the 3rd Laboratory Center of East Attica (VET School). He has a track record of significant research work in European programmes such as Comenius and Erasmus+ KA1, KA2 and Horizon 2020. He is certified in Research Integrity by the Oxford University.

 

Despina Sarrigeorgiou (PARAGON-eduTech)

Despina is a dedicated advocate for diversity issues and youth empowerment within the educational sector. At PARAGON-eduTech, she serves as a Research Assistant, actively contributing to Erasmus+ projects aimed at promoting digital literacy, inclusivity, and sustainability among educators. Despoina also plays a pivotal role within the International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education (ICICTE) as the Conference Secretariat, where she oversees strategic planning and operational aspects of this esteemed annual event. With her expertise and commitment, Despoina strives to foster inclusive, innovative, and technology-driven approaches to education, empowering educators and youth alike to thrive in an evolving digital landscape.

 

Georgios Karavasilis (PARAGON-eduTech)

George Karavasilis graduated from the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE), a Greek university specializing in training educators. His academic journey is marked by a strong focus on enhancing digital competencies among vocational education and training (VET) teachers. For his dissertation, George conducted an in-depth evaluation of e-learning platforms, assessing their effectiveness in developing digital skills for VET educators in Greece. His research highlighted key areas for improvement in digital education, emphasizing the importance of accessible, engaging, and well-supported online learning environments. George is passionate about leveraging technology to improve educational outcomes and support teacher development.

 

Anca Menina Danci (FAS)

Anca Menina Danci, journalist, an activist for the human rights for vulnerable persons, project manager in several EU funded programs, a recognised good practitioner in the field. She is also the Executive Director of FAS establishing strategic partnerships, in order to set up the best educational policies to include SEN children in mainstreaming education. She is also a PR expert with over 20 years of professional experience in the field and a Master`s Degree in Documentary Film. As a trainer, she guides people with disabilities to establish better communication.

 

Simona Drăghici (FAS)

Simona Drăghici is a psychologist and clinical social worker with a Master's degree focused on social work and mental health from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Simona has gained varied experience in several psychiatric wards/hospitals in Canada (adult and geriatric psychiatry at the Royal Columbia Hospital New Westminster, crisis centre psychiatry and also long-term treatment for adolescents and children at Surrey Memorial Hospital, Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment). She has a vast experience in work with disadvantaged people such as intellectual disabilities, abused women with children and refugees or immigrants. She is licensed to practice psychotherapy in Canada accredited by the British Columbia College of Social Workers and in Romania as a psychologist specializing in Systemic Family and Couple Therapy.

 

Ildiko Sperlea (FAS)

Ildiko Sperlea studied Economics and she has 15 years experience in sales. In the last 4 years she has worked for The Rehabilitation Foundation “Speranta” as Marketing and Public Relations Specialist and administrator of social services. She has experience as technician in 2 other EU funded programs. She is an empathetic person, has very good communication and organizational skills, open to new challenges and learning opportunities.

 

Karina Murray (AUNUA)

Angelique Kobessen (PRO WORK)

Angelique Kobessen (1970) has a Private Law Degree with a Specialization in Employment/Labor Law (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and worked for years at several law firms in Rotterdam as a Counsellor and Barrister, specialized in Criminal Law, Labor Law, Family Law, and Administrative Law. In that capacity her responsibilities and work consisted of advising and assisting clients of the law firms, including, if necessary, litigating in court. In the field of criminal law, she assisted pro bono clients in addition to paid clients. After that she worked as a Labor Law Lawyer for CNV Labor Union Rotterdam and assisted the members in problems with their employer in the broadest sense of the word, both in an advisory role and assisting members in court, she also contributed to the preparing and drafting of social plans. Besides her work as a lawyer, she played an active role as a volunteer at primary school OBS De Kirreweie in Burgh-Haamstede and in her role as Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Parent Council, she worked closely with school leadership and parents to foster a positive educational environment. Currently she is working as a Project/Account Manager for Stichting Kenniscentrum Pro Work, which includes providing advice, making sure that all the aims of the project and the quality standards are met as well as dissemination (communication & marketing), as well as networking activities to achieve the goals of the projects.

 

Tessa Den Bakker-Grefkens (PRO WORK)

Tessa (1986) has a bachelor’s degree Applied Science (B.A.SC.) in Communication and Media Studies (Hogeschool Zeeland), a bachelor’s degree in arts (B.A.) General Cultural Studies (Erasmus University Rotterdam), and a master’s degree in Arts (M.A.) Media & Journalism (Erasmus University Rotterdam). Since 2012 she has been working as an EU Project Manager for Stichting Kenniscentrum Pro Work, which means collaborating with stakeholders to define and achieve project objectives while representing the European Union's interests, providing strategic management advice, coordinating professional teams, and conducting risk assessments to ensure smooth project execution. As well as overseeing the recruitment and monitoring of subcontractors, maintaining high-quality standards through regular evaluations, and utilizing IT tools to track progress. Additionally, Ieading communication and marketing efforts to promote the project and handling financial aspects, including budgeting, costing, and billing, ensuring transparency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. Currently she is also Chairman of Stichting Kenniscentrum Pro Work in which capacity she has a crucial responsibility in steering the organization towards successful and impactful results with leadership, strategic insight, and collaboration skills. In addition to the international projects of Pro Work, Tessa is involved in a variety of activities that are conducted within the educational sector and European subsidized programs. These activities cover a wide range of topics but share a focus on innovation, mobility, collaboration, and quality within education in the Netherlands and Europe. They can be categorized into three main areas: organizing international mobility programs, developing teaching materials and databases, and providing consultancy and advice, such as supporting project-based grant applications.

 

Amber Berrevoets (PRO WORK)

Amber (1996) has a VET degree in Allround Desktop Publisher as well as a VET degree in Media Designer (both at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam). She started as an intern at Stichting Kenniscentrum Pro Work in 2023 and has been employed here since August 1, 2024, where she focuses on Supporting Project and Graphic Design. At the same time, she studies Cross Media Communication at Hogeschool Rotterdam. Amber is motivated, persistent and open to new challenges.
